ACTIVATION

score-paris

The concert was structured in three parts corresponding to different stage light designs while the cello improvisation developed in sections:

Concert
– section 1 : manipulated cello (fragmentation)
– section 2 : manipulated cello plus automated sound diffusion (initial dispersion)

Installation
– section 3 : automated diffusion (dispersion)

Light:

Stage 1: OUTSIDE (0´to 20´)

Stage 2: INSIDE (20´to 29´)

Stage 3: DIVE // 29´to 37´30´´

Stage 4: SOUND INSTALLATION

The performance gradually transformed itself into a sound and light installation that reorganized the room and “opened” the stage to the audience movement/drift. The grid was also lighted from within and the scenography was now transformed into an “installation” space where people could move around and stay as long as they want.
